Fight 2 Win is back in Houston tonight with all the action we’ve come to expect from these talent-packed cards, and as you prepare to watch F2W 177, here’s a bit of what you can expect:
The main event of the night will see Rafael Lovato Jr. take on Alexandro Ceconi. Ceconi, who has medaled at Worlds, also won Brazilian Nationals twice in the early 2010s. He also took home gold at the UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Pro in 2010.
Lovato, a legend of the sport, has had a few impressive performances recently, putting on a show against Gilbert Burns in their main event at Who’s Number One in April and then winning double gold at the Oklahoma Open. His last promotional appearance saw him take home an impressive submission victory against Gabriel Almeida at F2W 166.
The co-main event of the evening will be a middleweight gi title match between Kendall Reusing and Maria Malyjasiak. Malyjasiak is a former F2W welterweight gi title holder, submitting Nathiely de Jesus to claim the honor back at F2W 154. The Pans and multiple-time No-Gi Pans champion has a serious challenge ahead of her with Reusing, though. Reusing claimed the F2W middleweight no-gi title just a few events ago at F2W 173. Her position as one of the most impressive modern BJJ athletes was further solidified earlier this year when she won her division at Pans, and tonight, she’ll be hoping to build on her already impressive F2W resume.
Another big match this evening will put 3CG 7 and SUG 24 finalist Pedro Marinho on the stage with Davi Ramos, who won ADCC gold in 2015 and will be making his first F2W appearance since his match against Garry Tonon in 2019.
Of course, that’s not all. There are many more matches to be seen tonight featuring grapplers of all ages and ranks, so make sure you tune in to see it all.
F2W 177 will take place tonight and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
