Less than ten days from the tenth installment of the European Open, four big-time names have confirmed they will be in Lisbon, Portugal, for the tournament.
A four-time World Championship-winning ace from team Alliance, Rubens Cobrinha will be gunning for gold against Augusto Tanquinho and others in the featherweight division. Now, his loyal partner Michael Langhi will be looking to add further shine to his medal collection in the lightweight division. The third weight-carrying name is Lucio Lagarto of Gracie Barra UK, who got started in the new season early by competing at Copa Podío, and he’ll be looking for top spot in the superheavyweight and absolute divisions.
At brown belt, medium-heavyweight star Keenan Cornelius of team Lloyd Irvin is the firm favorite to win the absolute in Lisbon, after having dazzled the opposition in Rio with his guard.
Sign-ups for the European Open end tomorrow, so make haste; secure your spot here.
