Dillon Danis wants to fight in the UFC, but according to a recent interview, he’s keeping his options open for the second biggest MMA promotion: Bellator.
In an interview with Submission Radio, Danis – who holds a BJJ black belt under Marcelo Garcia and trains with UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor – not only talked about a potential debut in Bellator, but a potential opponent.
I heard Rory MacDonald was saying some stuff about me so I might have to go slap him up a little bit. I’m thinking about doing that with Bellator, but, you know, I’m keeping my options open.
Dillon didn’t get into any specifics about what Rory said, but it did have something to do with jiu-jitsu.
He said, “These jiu-jitsu guys better…” I don’t know what he said, but I’m going to come there and we are going to see what he says when I’m in there with him.
