Either Demian Maia or Tyron Woodley could be facing Georges St-Pierre sometime after UFC 214 next month.
This is according to a tweet from veteran MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, who said the UFC rushed the fight so they could have a winner for GSP to go up against when the promotion returns to Madison Square Garden.
Ariel also lamented that Maia did not get enough time to prepare for his fight.
UFC rushed to do Woodley-Maia in July so they could have winner fight GSP at MSG. 214 is amazing, but I feel for Maia: deserved more time.

No news yet on when this fight could take place.
After a four-year hiatus, Georges St-Pierre — widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time — made his return to the UFC. He was originally slated to fight current middleweight kingpin “The Count” Michael Bisping, but the match was eventually scrapped.
How do you think Woodley or Maia would do in a match against St-Pierre, keeping in mind that GSP has not fought in the cage since 2013?
