Having been through organizations like the WEC and UFC, Danillo “Indio” Villefort performed well in front of his home crowd at Bitetti Combat 6 in Brasilia. This Thursday, the beast from the American Top Team landed the quickest knockout of the night against Cassiano Tytschyo in 57 seconds of fighting. With the great presentation, Indio hopes to return to shine at a large foreign organization.

“It was the tough fight I wanted. I want to go return to a major international event, the UFC, and this was a kid that I could leverage that on. So everything went well, I did my job and am happy to fight in Brasilia, with all my crew present,” he told GRACIEMAG.com.

The fighter admits he is already in negotiations with an organization.

“It’s going on, but I can’t say anything yet.”

Tytschyo is considered one of the great revelations of Brazilian domestic MMA. On the quick win, Indio said:

“To tell you the truth, that was my goal. I wanted to knock him out; I knew I could. I tried and succeeded. I have great confidence in my training. I train with my family and thank God I did it,” he celebrates.

Happy for the chance to fight in Brasilia, Danillo doesn’t rule out the possibility of returning to BC.

“Of course! There’s no need to even ask,” he concludes.
