In a totally unexpected turn of events at a recent mixed martial arts (MMA) event in Lake Charles, Louisiana, UFC president Dana White stumbled across a 19-year-old lightweight talent Sage Northcutt. Initially dismissive of the young talent, even jokingly referring to him as too pretty, White had to back track after seeing Northcutt in action. Northcutt’s display was so impressive that the UFC president offered him a fight on the UFC 192 FIGHT PASS Prelims. White later commented that he did not see that coming when describing the young fighter’s blistering victory. Talk about a lucky break. For Northcutt, one can only hope the best is yet to come.
