Cyborg crowned at Miami Open

With an absolute winners’ stand packed with Jiu-Jitsu working men, The Miami Open crowned in first place Nova Geração ace Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu.

Besides new king of Florida Cyborg, Marcus Almeida took second, with Eduardo Milioli and Rafael Formiga coming in third.

In the adult class, Daniel Alvarez (Nova União) reigned over the light featherweight class; at featherweight, Ryan Hall (Brasa) continued the excellent phase he’s been seeing; at lightweight, Jonathan Torres (Lloyd Irvin) beat Jonatas Tagarela (Atos); annd Rafael Formiga (Soul Fighters) stormed the middleweight.

In the medium heavyweight division, Guto Campos beat Eduardo Milioli, and João Moncaio (The Avengers), with Marcelo Meleiro in second (Nova União). In the super heavyweight category Marcus Bochecha (CheckMat); and in the ultraheavyweight, Roberto Cyborg (Avengers) won again, beating Stephen Hall (Alliance).

In the female absolute, light featherweight Sofia Amarante was the grand champion.
