Conor McGregor To Enter Plea Deal On July 26 For UFC 223 Bus Attacks

For those of you waiting to hear about the fate of “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, we have bad news for you; you’re going to have to wait.

According to MMA Fighting, the former two-division UFC Champion appeared in court today, but the appearance was brief. McGregor’s team said they wanted to enter a plea deal. The session was then dismissed, and McGregor is set to appear in court again on July 26.

On April 5, days before UFC 223, Conor McGregor and his teammates attacked a bus full of UFC fighters. McGregor even threw a dolly through the window. Numerous fighters were injured and forced off the card.

Conor was arrested shortly after the incident.

According to a member of McGregor’s legal team, Conor regrets his actions and “understands the seriousness of this matter.”

McGregor’s status in the UFC is also unknown, though he and President Dana White mended their relationship shortly after UFC 223. It is not known when McGregor will appear in the UFC octagon again.

Conor McGregor has not fought in the UFC cage since winning the UFC Lightweight Championship back in 2016.
