Compete in Italy, dispute cash prizes, watch electrifying superfights, and even attend a Ricardo De La Riva seminar. These are the options for anyone who signs up for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Professional Cup, kicking off May 13 in the town of Biella.
A close friend of the event’s promoter Ari Galo, De La Riva will be there to show some of his techniques. Also featured will be two superfights: one between Kron Gracie and Yan Cabral and the other with Bernardo Faria facing Raphael Abi-Rihan. To add even more dazzle to the show, Rickson Gracie will be in attendance at the Lauretana Forum Stadium.
Sixty thousand euros are up for grabs. The winners of the black belt weight divisions will take home four thousand euros, while second place will pocket a grand. The absolute will pay out seven thousand to the champions, with second place taking home three.Competitors from all belt colors and ages from all the teams across Europe and the world are welcome. Time is running out though, as the sign-up deadline is this coming May 5.
