Nova União representative Claudia Gadelha won the female/expert division at this Saturday’s Grapplers World War event in Houston, Texas. Accompanied by black belt Bruno Bastos, with whom she is training in Dallas, the Jiu-Jitsu brown belt needed less than two minutes to passguard and finish Pagaron athlete Laurah Hallock.
As a reward, Claudinha received a replica 50-caliber bullet.
“Once again I’d like to thank Bruno for the opportunity he is giving me to show what I can do here in America. Now I’ll carry on training for Naga two weeks from now. I’ll be 100% for this one,” says Claudia.
The event also featured a superfight, with veteran Jorge “Macaco” Patino overcoming Hector Munoz on points with two sweeps.
