In what will be their third fight against each other, Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz will go head to head in an MMA fight on November 24, according to ESPN.
The longtime rivals will be fighting for Golden Boy Promotions, which is run by boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya. The fight will be Golden Boy’s first MMA event, with the promotion previously only covering boxing matches.
Both fighters boast impressive fight records, with Liddell being 21-8 and Ortiz being 19-12-1. Liddell had announced his retirement in 2010 after three straight knockout losses. Ortiz hadn’t retired, but he began taking fewer fights after leaving the UFC in 2012; he fought four times for Bellator between 2014 and 2017.
Liddell defeated Ortiz in both of their previous fights (the last of which took place in 2006) by knockout. Their third fight will take place at The Forum in Inglewood, CA.
