Chris Haueter: ‘A Lot Of Good Things That I Learned And Teach Are From Lower Belts’

The Chris Haueter belt promotion speech was quite encouraging for people who are in the Jiu-Jitsu game. He makes various points about how a fighter’s attitude should be toward the black belt. First, he says that one should always strive for the black belt. Secondly, he says that once a fighter receives a black belt, that person is just getting started. He should start all over again like he doesn’t know anything and ask the lower belts for tips, tricks and advice.
