Channing Tatum And Mark Ruffalo’s Wrestling Injuries From The Set Of Foxcatcher

Many people think that Hollywood actors have it easy. However, the fact of the matter is that actors and actresses do not lead the pampered life that so many people are used to imagining. Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo reveal wrestling injuries from filming Foxcatcher recently. According to numerous media reports from a journalist’s lunchein, these two leading actors received several injuries while they were filming. Considering the nature of the film and the story that it tells, it is not surprising to consider the possibility that somebody would end up being hurt on the set.

Channing Tatum

Channing Tatum, despite the fact that he himself was a multiple sport athlete in high school, has never wrestled, and believes that he had broke his hand in the movie during the training sessions. While he may have impressive experience in other fields, he has not wrestled before. For his performance, he had to get in the ring with other actual amateur wrestlers. He said that a lot of the action could end up becoming distracting, and that if he was not quick, he would be injured. Even during his better moments, he has said that he is still sore and tired from his training.

Mark Ruffalo, however, has had a little bit more experience with wrestling, but still experiences injury regularly. He was a former high school wrestler who has said that their life has become wrestling since they began working on the film. After the movie was completed, Tatum has said that he has gained a newfound respect for wrestling as a sport. He has said that with wrestling, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Every move is a struggle, and there is always a counter that you should be able to make, or you will lose the match. He has likened it to chess, but has described it as a much more intensive and violent type of chess. If you are not always perceptive, you can knock yourself out, or suffer from any number of other injuries.

Among the numerous injuries were several cuts on his forehead, which he sustained from a particularly intense scene in the movie. In another scene, the actor playing Dave Schultz had slapped Tatum along the head so hard that he suffered from a ruptured eardrum. It has since healed, but it just goes to show the lengths that actors will go to in order to embrace a movie’s story and ideals in a convincing way for the audience.
