Head teacher at Ryan Gracie team in São Paulo Celso Venícius is celebrating his team’s results for 2010.
“Last weekend we won the São Paulo state championship. Alliance has dominated the competition for years and we managed to win it this time,” he says in jubilation.
“This year we also won gi and no-gi stages of the São Paulo circuit, as well as the Southeast Brazilian Championship, so it’s been great. It shows that our team is growing.”
The black belt is thankful to everyone who has been by his side.
“It doesn’t come down to my work, but to everyone’s. It shows how united the team is, and in 2011, we’re going for much more!” says Celsinho in closing from Santa Catarina, where he is conducting a seminar at Alexandre de Souza’s academy.
