This Saturday the Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Cup and Ryan Gracie No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu State Championship, sanctioned by the FJJ-Rio, took place at Rio de Janeiro’s Jardim Guanabara Yacht Club. In the black belt division, the absolute champion was Fabrício Prantera; at brown Manoel Oliveira took the title; at purple it was Bruno Iglessias; while at blue Murillo Sabino and foreigner Steven Muldrow closed out for Carlson’s school.
