Bruno Malfacine put his BJJ skills to good use when he took on Romero Boaes at Shooto Brazil 74.
The multiple-time World and Pan-Am Champion charged in early at Boaes, wrestling him to the ground. Bruno ended up in mount and began pounding away at his opponent with short shots. Boaes reversed, but ended up with his arms tied up in Malfacine´s butterfly guard. Bruno then pulled his opponent into guard and after a brief struggle, threw his leg over Romero´s head and got the tap.
Winner by submission (armbar) in the first round: Bruno Malfacine!
