ADCC 2022 silver medalist Brianna Ste-Marie will be taking on double gold no-gi IBJJF world champion Elisabeth Clay at Tezos WNO on Sunday, October 1 per FloGrappling. Ste-Marie and Clay face each other for a shot at the vacant 145-lb women’s championship title.
Ste-Marie and Clay are two of the pound-for-pound most accomplished athletes in modern women’s jiu-jitsu, but according to reporting by FloGrappling, have yet to face each other in competition on a major stage. It’ll no doubt be a daunting — and exciting — prospect for both women. After all, both are ADCC alumni with multiple IBJJF major titles, as well as aggressive finishers, which all but guarantees a barn burner of a showdown between these two.
Tickets to the live show in Houston, Texas are currently on sale; the match will stream as part of Tezos WNO 20: Night of Champions from FloGrappling.
