Gracie Barra black-belt Ulpiano Malachias opened this week his new gym in Houston, TX. The opening saw 18 black-belts present and a big seminar with stars like Rômulo Barral, Edwin Najmi, Vinícius Draculino and the UFC’s Alex Morono.
“Taking this opportunity of this great opening and the seminar, I promoted several students, among them three new black-belts,” said Ulpiano, a black-belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. The gym has 10,000 sq. ft., of which 6,500 are just mat space.
