Former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos will be the latest MMA fighter to appear on one of the “Dancing With the Stars” shows, according to Brazil’s Globo.
Dos Santos will test out his moves on Dança dos Famosos, which is Brazil’s version of the popular USA-based dance show. He’ll be following in the footsteps of fellow former UFC champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who appeared on the show in 2012, but didn’t win the event. Chuck Liddell and Paige Van Zant have both competed on the U.S. edition of the show.
Dos Santos has been posting about the announcement on his social media, so fans who are as interested in his dance journey as they are in his endeavors inside the cage can keep up with his progress.
