Bernardo Faria On Conditioning When You Can Only Train Twice A Week

In a recent video, Marcelo Garcia black belt Bernardo Faria encouraged students to roll as much as they could in order to improve their cardio.

But what if you can only do BJJ twice a week?

For many of us, this is the unfortunate reality of training. Some of us have work and family commitments; others train at small gyms that can only offer two or three classes per week.

For those unfortunate few who cannot train as much they would like, Professor Faria suggests doing any exercise they can – running, swimming, and lifting weights.

For those who say they don’t have time to do that, Bernardo isn’t buying it. Everyone has at least twenty minutes where they can do some physical activity.

The simple fact of the matter is, whether or not you can make it to the gym often, you can still improve your jiu-jitsu.
