Between workouts in São Paulo, Aryzinho Faria took some time off for a chat with GRACIEMAG.com.
The team Atos Amazonas-state native won the light featherweight division at the European Open 2011, in Lisbon, Portugal, and doesn’t want to hear about losing his post in late January 2012.
“I’ll be there for sure,” he begins, “I plan to show up there in tip-top form. I’m already training to defend my title, which to me will be a luxury. I’ll be at the 2012 Europeans in Portugal with a full tank of gas,” he says in his peculiar vernacular.
“My aim isn’t just to win and defend my gold medal, but to showcase attack-packed and forward moving Jiu-Jitsu. To do so, I want to get my body fully bulletproof!” he told the reporter with a laugh. In bidding farewell, he sent Holiday wishes out to readers and hopes they have a victory-filled new year.
