Amanda Nunes pulled out of her main event fight against Valentina Shevchenko only hours before their match. Despite the UFC’s efforts to replace her with Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, the interim middleweight championship bout between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker took the place of the main event.
