The news of Dana White: Aldo-McGregor set for Dec. 12 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas has excited wrestling fans around the world. The date has been moved from the 5th of December to avoid the match being held at the same time as an Andrea Bocelli concert. Staging the match on that date would also mean a much smaller venue, and White is adamant that he wants a bigger venue than the Mandalay Bay which can only seat around 11,000 people. White is more than happy with the venue who really wanted to stage this match, he says.
In a recent press conference, White also repeated what he has said before – that Rousey and Justino were never offered a fight deal, regardless of what ex-UFC champion Ortiz has stated. White reiterated what he has pointed out before – that Justino, often known as Cyborg, would have to get her weight to 135 pounds before such a fight could be considered.
