UK-based jiu-jitsu star Ash Williams is going to have to fight to keep his belt at the upcoming Polaris 13.
The promotion has confirmed that Williams, who currently holds the lightweight title for the promotion, will be facing AJ Agazarm at the April event. Polaris had previously stated that both Agazarm and Williams would be competing on the card, which also features an absolute Grand Prix competition that will include Kaynan Duarte, Nick Rodriguez, Patrick Gaudio, and more.
Agazarm has shifted most of his focus to his MMA career as of late, but he came out ahead in his last grappling-based match, which took place at Fight 2 Win 133 against Ary Farias. Williams, a 2016 Euros no-gi champion, will be hoping to continue his undefeated streak for the promotion, which he earned after defeating Masakazu Imanari, Ethan Crelinsten, and most recently, Richard Alarcon.
Polaris 13 will take place on April 4 in Wales. You can stream the event live on UFC Fight Pass.
