GMA member Stephen Hall, leader of Pesadelo BJJ, needs your help.
Last month, his academy in Dallas, TX, burned to the ground in a devastating fire.
The insurance will pay for most of rebuilding, but Hall is still short to replace the burnt equipment, mats included.
Here is an account of what happened:
Pesadelo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & DFW Gun Range were destroyed by fire yesterday! God be praised that there was no loss of life nor any injuries.
That said, pretty much everything was lost. All of Steve’s GIs, the workout equipment, the new mats, etc. Only the 50 or so medals and hundreds of pictures are the only things that there is no way to regain.
In such a trying moment, Hall turned to the gentle art community for help to keep on making the world a better place with healthier people through Jiu-Jitsu.
He is organizing a seminar and donation campaign to put his academy back in business.
Here is how you can help.
Attend the seminar!
Sasser Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness will be hosting a seminar to benifit the reopening of Pesadelo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Money will go to buy new mats and equipment, as well as to rebuild. The minimum donation to attend is $20, but more is greatly appreciated.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support the BJJ community, and learn new technique from world class Black Belt Stephen “Pesadelo” Hall!
Techniques will be shared by
Alliance 1st Degree Black Belt, and World Champion, Stephen “Pesadelo” Hall (Steve Austin)…
2nd Degree Black Belt under Marcelo Garcia – Rob Ables
2nd Degree Black Belt Alan Shebaro
And 1st Degree Black Belt Jason Sasser
The seminar takes place on Mar. 30, at 1:00pm at Sasser Jiu-Jitsu & Fitness in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
The minimum donation to participate in the class is $20 but higher values are deeply appreciated.
Can’t make it to the seminar?
No problemo, you still can help Hall to have a place to train again.
Go to gofundme.com/pesadelobjj and read all about the campaign and his the “Donate” button.
Any ammount is welcome!
