Current three-time Jiu-Jitsu world champion, Rodolfo Vieira is out of the 2013 ADCC, which takes place in Beijing, China, on October 19-20.
The GFTeam black belt would make his second appearance at the event but is out because of a left knee injury. The pupil of Julio Cesar was scaled up in the 99kg division.
Through his personal FB page, Rodolfo Vieira talked about the injury:
“It is with great sadness that I report to my friends and to those who follow my work that I’m out of the ADCC and the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo because of a knee injury, which occurred last week. I was trying to heal it, but unfortunately it is not 100%. I still feel it loose when I step on the ground, “said Rodolfo.
