Professor Tom DeBlass recently announced that he would be serving the ADCC organization as Event Organizer and Promoter for the North American ADCC Trials.
Today, he announced via video on FaceBook that those trials are to be held in November at his alma mater Central Regional High School in Bayville, NJ.
A two time ADCC North American Trial Winner, Tom DeBlass looks to bring his knowledge and organizational skills to this elite grappling event. Jiu Jitsu Times reached out to Professor DeBlass Friday evening and this is what he had to say.
“I expect to make these trials as smooth as possible for the athletes. There will be a pre registration before hand with the brackets released the day before. This will be a great event in a great facility. ADCC has been and will continue to be the most prestigious event of the submission grappling world.”
Professor DeBlass also added that he is opening his academy, Ocean County BJJ to any and all competitors the Thursday and Friday before the event to allow them to train and cut weight.
The Event will be Nov. 19, 2016 and be held at High School at the following address:
Central Regional High School
509 Forest Hills Pkwy, Bayville, NJ 08721
