Dr. Harlan Van Over may be nearing the century mark but he has no plans of slowing down. The 94-year-old Tri-State man earns his sixth degree black belt becoming one of only 200 people to ever achieve the milestone. Taekwondo keeps him going and pushes him to do more.
Van Over is no stranger to adversity and accomplishments. This World War II veteran was an Air Force bombardier. His plane was shot down thrice while flying over Germany and somehow managed to survive each time. From this stint in the military, he learned how important it is to stay positive and to do your best at every turn.
