3rd Coast Grappling Returns In April With 8-Man Grappling Grand Prix Worth $20k In Prize Money

3rd Coast Grappling has announced their plans for their first big event of 2021, and we can expect a massive tournament and some seriously exciting superfights at the beginning of April.

The promotion has announced via press release that 3CG 6 will take place on April 3 in a pay-per-view event that will mark their debut on FITE TV. Promotor Ryan McGuire revealed last month that the company would be making the switch from the subscription-based FloGrappling.

No description available.

3CG 6 will feature an eight-man Grand Prix tournament that will be open to multiple grappling disciplines, including not only BJJ, but also judo, sambo, and wrestling. The winner of the event will receive $15,000, with the runner-up taking home $5,000. The event will also feature a number of superfights throughout the evening featuring some of the biggest names in grappling.

3CG will be releasing the names of the participating athletes over the course of the next few weeks, and the bracket for the GP is scheduled for release on March 1.

3rd Coast’s sixth major event follows 3CG 5, which took place in December and saw William Tackett tap out Fellipe Andrew in under a minute in the main event.

3CG VI will take place on Saturday, April 3 in Houston, Texas and can be purchased via PPV on FITE TV.
