10th Planet’s Keith Krikorian is now a black belt after a decorated colored belt career that saw him become one of the team’s biggest standouts over the years.
Krikorian was promoted by 10P black belt Richie “Boogey” Martinez, who praised his student’s hard work on the mats.
“From the age of 15 to the age 22 @keithkrikorian has been a great student. Always consistent, always a hard worker, always a great teammate, a great listener and over all a great person and friend. It is an honor to be able to award this hard earned #BlackBelt to my little brother Keith! CONGRATULATIONS “
Krikorian, an ADCC veteran, was promoted after his swift victory over Rafael Domingos at Submission Underground 18, which came by way of triangle choke. The EBI vet has also supplied his own knowledge to the jiu-jitsu community in an accessible way, having sold videos containing dozens of techniques for just $2 as the jiu-jitsu world began coping with training and learning at home in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Congratulations on this new black belt as he enters the next step of his jiu-jitsu journey!
