10th Planet blue belt Ricardo Campos has some serious skills. In a recent competition, he hit a twister finish, a finish even most advanced students have trouble hitting.
Ricardo said of his finish:
Can’t believe it actually happened. I’ve been wanting to hit this submission in a tournament for almost a year now. My Coach Leonard Alexander Canders Jr showed me the Swedish entry and helped me refine several details. Jarrell Garcia taught me different setups and control tips, and all my training partners at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Walnut Creek worked with me and made me earn it. It is such an honor to be able to hit my first twister in a competition in front of Eddie Bravo, the creator of the twister and 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu. I love all the support and enthusiasm from the audience and my teammates, especially you Caiti Shaw
