UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation® announces a broadcast partnership with Multi TV Solutions for India Territory.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® will be broadcasted across 100 countries on Live and delayed telecast on Twenty-Four TV Networks.
Los Angeles, USA, 13th September, 2018: Some of the best Jiu-Jitsu players from across the globe are preparing to battle it out at the second leg of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam®, which is set to take place in Los Angeles on 22nd September at the LA Convention Center with new TV audiences in India.
Commenting on the new broadcast partnership, Mr. Tareq Al Bahri, Director of Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® said, “We are excited to announce a broadcast partnership with Multi TV Solutions which will see the UAEJJF air the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam®. Season 4 live on premium channels: Airtel TV, Idea Movies & TV, Jio TV and Triple Play IPTV. The combat sport is on the rise in India and we are honored to have them on board.”
Airtel TV, Idea Movies & TV, Jio TV and Triple Play IPTV will air previous Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® events at accessible India times, and all the season 4 events will be broadcasted live.
Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® Los Angeles will be broadcasted live on Abu Dhabi Sports in the MENA region, FloGrappling worldwide live stream, Combate in Brazil and Airtel TV, Idea Movies & TV, Jio TV and Triple Play IPTV in India. The event will also be aired on delayed basis on FOX Sports in Asia, Fight Sports in North America, Caribbean, Europe, Japan, Fight Network in Canada, Europe and MENA, Astro in Malaysia, Starhub in Singapore, ABS-CBN Sports in Philippines, Orange TV, IndiHome and MyRepublik in Indonesia, Singtel in Singapore and Australia, Azam Sports in Africa, EB-TV in Asia, J Sports and TV Asahi in Japan, SFR Sports in Europe, Dubai Sports and Sharjah Sports in MENA.
About Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® Los Angeles
The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam® in Los Angeles will begin at 10:30am until 18:00pm (LA standard time) on 22ndSeptember. The pre-date weigh-in will take place on Friday, September 21stfrom 17:00pm to 19:00pm at Los Angeles Convention Center; the on-date early weigh-in will take place on the day of the event from 8:30am to 9:30am.
The tournament is open to all nationalities, the medalists will be listed in the UAEJJF world rankings and cash prizes of more than $120,000 will be awarded to the top athletes of each division. The top three academies will also receive cash prizes and top ranked competitors will receive prizes at the end of the season according to the UAEJJF World Ranking.
The first-place winner in the respective weight categories of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam will receive 200 points. The second-place winner will receive 160 points and the third-place winner will receive 120 points.
