Murilo Santana made it to the open class final

The adult male open class division has defined its finalists. Friends Leandro Lo and Murilo Santana will be in the gold medal match this Sunday.

As appears, it’s going to be a gentleman’s agreement and Murilo will take the first place.

Lo got to the final with wins over Jackson Souza (penalty), Vitor Oliveira (refs decision) and James Puopolo (11-0).

Murilo defeated Stefanno Correa (choke), Matthew Jubera (armlock), DJ Jackson (2-0) and Lucas Leite (4-0).

Lo said about being in the final with his friend: “I can’t fight him. He’s too good and will landslide me 30-0 and choke me. He gets the title because he’s older,” laughed Lo.

The black belt weight divisions go on tomorrow.

In the female black belt open class, Talita Nogueira will face Ana Carol Lebre in the gold medal match.
