The 2014 World iu-Jitsu Expo has announced another superfight for its roster of attractions.
Black belts Baret Yoshida and Samir Chantre will clash in a 15-minute gi match under IBJJF rules.
Brazilian Samir Chantre is a black belt under Alan Moraes currently training with two-time world champion Caio Terra in San Jose, California.
Hawaiian Baret Yoshida is a former MMA competitor and a black belt under Egan Inoue.
The World Jiu-Jitsu Expo takes place October 18-19, at the Long Beach Convention Center.
The event has the following attractions already confirmed.
Marcus Buchecha, Leo Veira, the Mendes Bros, Rodrigo Cavaca & Robert Drysdale, Augusto Tanquinho & Mackenzie Dern and Roberto Cyborg will be teaching seminars.
All seminars at the WJJE will be in the gi.
Three IBJJF events will take place during the Expo: IBJJF Pro League, the American Nationals Kids and the Long Beach Open.
Six other superfights are also already confirmed – Gianni Grippo vs. Augusto Tanquinho, Nino Schembri vs. Vitor Shaolin, Robson Moura vs. Marcos Parrumpinha, Tim Spriggs vs. Leo Nogueira, João Assis vs. Rolles Gracie (no-gi), Caio Terra vs. Jeff Curran.
