World Grand-Prix ACB JJ 7- 85 kg No-Gi Bracket

The World Grand-Prix ACB JJ 7 features athletes in both gi and no-gi tournaments. The events are open to qualified athletes from across the globe, showcasing fighters from different schools, with one thing in common: elite skill level.

After 2015’s thirteen amazing submission-only matches at the Moscow exhibition, expectations were high. In 2016, the expectations of spectators and trainers alike were exceeded when the talented fighters wowed the crowd in this gentle sport. Patrick Gaudio

Patrick got his Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt from his father. He began training seriously at the Top Brothers Academy, then later with Julio Cesar Pereira at the Grappling Fight Team headquarters. His accomplishments include becoming the CBJJ Brazilian National Champion (2017 black, 2014 brown, 2011 blue), the IBJJF South American Champion (2015), and the IBJJF Sao Paulo International Open Champion (2016).

Isaque Bahiense

A Brazilian Jui Jitsu black belt middleweight trained under Fabio Gurgel, Michael Langhi from Team Alliance, and Fabio Andrade of Nova, Isaque Bahiense is considered a teenage jiu-jitsu prodigy. Bahiense won junior world titles with and without the gi, as well as a national Brazilian title. His records include Copa Pódio Lightweight Champion (2017), Marianas LW Champion (2017), and IBJJF World Champion (2016 brown).

Claudio Calasans

Calasans trained at a Sao Jose de Campos Academy, where he received his black belt. For this tournament, he represents the Atos Jiu Jitsu and the Calasans Camargo gyms. His accomplishments include IBJJF South American Champion (2016) and IBJJF World Champion(2015).

Josh Hinger

An American Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Andre Galvao at the Atos JuJitsu Academy, Hinger began his grappling career as a high school wrestler, earning several accolades. After high school he began training in jiu-jitsu. His accomplishments include IBJJF World No-Gi Champion (2016), IBJJF Seattle International Open Champion (2017/2015), and Gracie Worlds Champion (2015).

Arnaldo Oliveira

Arnaldo Oliveira is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt trained exclusively by Gilberto Gabas. After receiving his belt, Oliveira moved to the United States and joined the Checkmat Team to follow the jiu-jitsu circuit more closely. His accomplishments include American National Champion (2015), Las Vegas International Open Champion (2015 weight + absolute), and Austin International Open Champion (2015 weight + absolute).

Thiago Sa

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt awarded by Ricardo Vieira from Checkmat Academy, Sa’s sporting career began in youth football. It was also this sport that led him to jiu-jitsu, as he discovered the art while walking past grapplers after football practice. His accomplishments include IBJJF European No-Gi Champion (2017), IBJJF Santa Cruz Pro Champion (2015), and IBJJF European Champion (2014).

Lucas Rocha

Rocha a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu trained by Ze Radiola at the Gracie Barra-Recife Academy. His accomplishments include Pan American Championship 2nd Place (2010 brown absolute, 2015 black), Pan American Championship 3rd Place (2014 black), and World Champion (2008 blue, 2009 purple).

Higo Marques

Higo, a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu trained by Alexandre Salgado and Leandro Escobar of the SoulFighters team. His accomplishments include IBJJF World Champion (2017 brown, 2013 blue), CBJJ Brasileiro Champion (2017 brown, 2015 purple), and IBJJF World No-Gi Champion (2014 purple).
