Climbers are known for being in excellent shape and having great grips, so it makes sense that an elite-level climber would also be well suited for grappling.
Norwegian rock climber Magnus Midtbø decided to test his grappling skills out for viewers of his YouTube channel, and, as expected, he had a pretty tough first time (just as a jiu-jitsu practitioner probably would for their first time rock climbing). His experience provides a great example of how different activities make you “in shape” in different ways. Check out the footage below:
