The Jiu-Jitsu Pan 2010 this Sunday hit the 2,000-competitor mark. The deadline to be part of this major celebration of the sport ends Thursday, so don’t miss it. Sign up here!
There have been several stars confirmed, like black belt Otavio Sousa (Gracie Barra-PE), last year’s runner-up in the absolute, but most leave it to the last minute, which means that the 2010 Pan is the biggest Jiu-Jitsu championship to date. GRACIEMAG is already rounding up its team for special coverage of the event, which last year made the cover, featuring the match between Antonio Braga Neto (absolute champion from Gordo JJ) and Romulo Barral (Gracie Barra).
One of the biggest names confirmed is middleweight champion Sergio Moraes. GRACIEMAG.com dug up the final from the 2008 Worlds between the Alliance black belt and Bill Cooper. Check it out, grab your gi from the closet and take the whole family and friends to the 2010 Pan.
