Paulo Miyao at the 2015 Worlds
Paulo Miyao did something unprecedented this week when he reached the top of the IBJJF male adult black belt ranking.
With 883.5pts, the 2015 light-featherweight world champion became the first athlete bellow the heavyweight division to be the leader.
The IBJJF posted today both of Miyao’s final matches at the 2015 Chicago Summer Open.
The double gold campaign at the lightweight and the open class was responsible for Paulo to reach number 1.
