The official website for the Brazilians tryouts for the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Cup event (www.abudhabipro.com.br) has already posted the brackets and timetable for the championship. But the big news is that gentle art fans will be able to watch the fights live, even without their being in Gramado. The organization will provide free broadcast of the main matches.
“The event will be broadcast live to the world. It was decided that it will be free at this stage, and will be charged for at the Rio leg and the main event in Abu Dhabi. This is a gift we’re offering Internet users,” said Fernando Paradeda, organizer of the South American tryouts.
Users will only need to perform basic registration to watch the event, and remember that they should enter a valid email address, since a confirmation will be sent to them. Some of Saturday’s matches and all of the semifinals and finals on Sunday will be broadcast. The broadcast will have English and Portuguese commentating, in a joint-production between Intheguard.tv, Jiu-Jitsu Pro Gear and Grab and Pull
Moreover, the entire event will be sold on pay-per-view with a four-day delay for $ 4.95, to watch over and over again for several days.
