CheckMat black belt Nivaldo Oliveira had his work cut out for him in winning his first Brazilian National title at black belt, last weekend. In the medium heavyweight semfinals the Rodrigo Cavaca student overcame world-title collector Rômulo Barral of Gracie Barra.
