UFC middleweight contender Vitor Belfort announced some big news today.
On his Instagram account, the Brazilian fighter said that he was OKed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission to compete again.
He wrote: “I have in hands my license from the NSAC. My training was never based in less effort and my prizes and conquests are results of a work that few can endure for such a long time. My journey as a fighter is non-stop. Here is my answer to critics”.
He then went to reveal that his next challenge already has a date: “My fight will take place at mandalay Bay, on December 6,” he wrote, referring to a probable title fight against UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman.
The UFC already confirmed the engagement in its website.
Weidman vs. Belfort will headline UFC 181.
