At the 2014 IBJJF Madrid Open Michelle Nicolini and Maria Gonzalez were the only black belt females in attendance but no one’s complaining. It’s always good to see a match at the black belt level with females at the smaller city tournaments, especially in Europe.
Michelle won the division with this match and secured an armbar and a number of sweeps and passes prior. Check out the full match below:
