Polaris Professional Jiu-Jitsu 4, held Oct. 29 in Poole, England, had among its great matches Garry Tonon vs. Gilbert Burns. The duel between the American with a strong standup game and the Brazilian UFC veteran and world BJJ champion at gi and no-gi was one of the evening’s best.
Good-looking movement, insane attacks and lots of switching between positions. The crowd went wild, and the Brazilian had the best chances. However, a sneaky ankle lock gave Garry Tonon the win.
