In an recently interview, Atos black belt Keenan Cornelius shared that he wants to be more active in IBJJF tournaments and decided to make the trip to Japan for the National Championship, held last Saturday, April 15th, at Sumida City Gymnasium, in Tokyo. Keenan and Marcos de Souza, from Academia Bonsai Jiu-Jitsu, had an awesome back and forth final that went the distance. This heavyweight final match was filled with sweeps, back-takes, guard passing-attempts and takedowns. These two warriors covered every inch of the mat area, trying to submit each other and constantly pressing action.
