At the Rio Fall Open in March 2015, Erberth Santos was riding high with his recently acquired black belt. A double gold winner of that edition of the tournament, the Guigo Jiu-Jitsu fighter had a memorable semifinal match — one duly captured by the Graciemag lens.
In his duel with Alan Regis, Erberth worked hard on top and scored 16 points to zero. Though he had already done enough to secure a win, Erberth then noticed an unattended hand and attacked it mercilessly.
Watch below this early episode in Erberth’s rise to the jiu-jitsu elite.
