Gracie Barra Switzerland representative Igor Araújo continues his march of victory in MMA. This Saturday he added his 18th win in the style to his tally, at Noite dos Sports de Combat 6, in Spain.

“I won a judges’ decision. I fought Raymond Jaman, a Dutchman well known in these parts. I stood and traded with the guy, a striker from Mike’s Gym, the same team where K-1 star Badr Hari and Melvin Manhoef train. I nearly got the knockout, his face got really messed up,” says Igor, who has a solid string of wins under his belt.

“I also won the Strength and Honor Championship belt two weeks ago. I beat Lithuania’s Vaidas Valencius, who was undefeated in MMA in seven fights,” adds the fighter, who trains with Professor Fabio Januario, of Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte.

“I’m going to take some rest and go to the United States for the Jiu-Jitsu Worlds,” Igor reveals.

Another Gracie Barra fighter who did well in Spain is Fabiano Araujo, who made his MMA debut with a submission.
