Who’s Number One is already planning their next event for March 26, and they announced the main event in the middle of tonight’s WNO: Craig Jones vs. Ronaldo Junior event.
Following Gordon Ryan‘s submission win over Roberto Jimenez, FloGrappling revealed that Ryan already had a match lined up at their next WNO event, and his opponent will be none other than Vanger Rocha.
When the match was announced, Ryan revealed a bit of backstory, saying that Rocha had picked on him a bit when he was younger and considerably lighter than he is now. The grapplers have faced off before, with their most recent match taking place in the finals of EBI 11 back in 2017. Ryan won that match with a rear naked choke.
Ryan is steadily building an impressive resume at WNO, submitting Kyle Boehm and Matheus Diniz at previous events in addition to his most recent victory against Jimenez. Rocha is also undefeated for the promotion, having defeated Ronaldo Junior and then Jon Blank at WNO events in the past.
Who’s Number One: Gordon Ryan vs. Vagner Rocha will take place on Friday, March 26 and can be streamed live on FloGrappling.
