Even though there are plenty of MMA fighters who have mad skills on the mats as well as in the cage, it’s still exciting to see fighters progressing in BJJ.
Last week, 10-0 UFC fighter Sean “Sugar” O’Malley achieved another major accomplishment in his martial arts career by earning his purple belt in jiu-jitsu. The fighter received the promotion from Tim Welch and Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes.

Now that he’s back in action following a 6-month USADA suspension, O’Malley is scheduled to fight Marlon Vera at UFC 239 in early July.
