UFC Veteran Emmanuel Yarborough Passes Away At Age 51

The largest athlete in the world is dead. Friends and family of 882 pound Emmanuel Yarborough recently announced that ‘Manny’, as he liked to be called, had died. The cause of death has not yet been released.

Manny was in the Guinness Book of World Records as the heaviest athlete on the planet. He participated in American mixed martial arts (MMA), amateur sumo wrestling, judo, wrestling, American football, and even had some acting experience. He starred in the 1997 Bollywood movie ‘Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi’, appeared in several talk shows, starred in the HBO drama Oz, and even did a commercial for Motorola.

His MMA record was one win and two losses. In his first fight Yarborough took on Keith Hackney who TKO’d Yarborough even after being thrown through the cage door. Manny’s second fight was a victory against Tatsou Nakano, and his last was a loss to Daiju Takase.

Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Yarborough was only 51 years old.
