UFC tightens grip and purchases Strikeforce

Currently the dominant power in world MMA, UFC controlling company Zuffa pushes forward with the policy that has been its hallmark in recent years. Just as it did with Pride FC and the WEC, it has now bought up Strikeforce, considered to be the second biggest MMA event in the world. The news was broke first hand in an interview with Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White on the website MMAFighting.com.

The future of Strikeforce and its fighters seems to remain intact, though, as the UFC top dog guarantees it will be “business as usual” for the two organizations in the interview with reporter Ariel Helwani:
